Finished my klaine_endgame fic three days after claiming it. Too bad the posting doesn't begin until August 23rd and it can't be posted anywhere until it goes up there! LOL! On the upside, the lovely mods have let me claim a second prompt. Forgot how much fun prompt and fic writing could be!

Biggest ♥ to justbeingaqueen for forever being the most wonderful inspiration as the other half of my OTP. Couldn't do any of this without her Kurt to thrive on! One of the best writers to ship with EVER *is a billion times lucky*

For the sake of any open threads or communities, I have decided that the only Kurt I can really comfortably thread with is justbeingaqueen.

It is honestly not that I don't like other Kurts, because I'm sure there are wonderful ones out there, it is just that the writer behind justbeingaqueen and I have been writing Klaine together since Blaine's conception on the show (since November 2010, we started out on LJ), which has led to a lot of Klaine CR and head canon for us. I have found in open forums, it's hard for me to shake that in threads with other Kurts... and my brain even makes me feel like I'm cheating on him with others ;) The true wonder of having a trusted RP partner with a love for your OTP as strong as yours.

So, for the sake of open verses and communities I shove Blaine into, he's open to interaction from any (including other Glee muses), but I would prefer to keep my Klaine to the Kurt I am 100% familiar with.

Thanks to a fellow Blaine fan, this is pretty much my head canon as per Blaine's headspace during Cough Syrup. Not even going to lie, this is what I wanted more of as opposed to Karofsky. Maybe one day, if I hope enough, they might remember they made Blaine a victim of homophobia too, which had to have deep consequences for him. Wanted to share here, because it is the route I'm heading in my head canon for writing him.

In the days at his old public high school in Cleveland, Ohio, Blaine was a quiet and unassuming kid from a well-off family and spent his time shared between studying a lot to keep his grades on top to please his father, and being involved in sports his father chose for him of polo and fencing. Blaine's musical talents were honed by way of singing lessons, piano lessons, violin lessons and guitar lessons, but he was taught to not let hobbies get in the way of his studies so he could follow in his father's footsteps and become a lawyer. Dalton Academy was always an option of high schools for Blaine, but begged his parents to let him go to the local public high school and his father only agreed to it with sheer reluctance after Blaine's grandmother went into bat for her only grandson.

Call me crazy, but I decided to tackle the Character Survey of Doom for Blaine. Sourced from HERE, if anyone else wants to give it a shot. In just one week, I will have been writing Blaine for a full year (yes, I created his journal two days before he appeared in canon because I knew I would fall in love with him), so I thought this was a fitting anniversary present... even if canon is going to trump that for him well and good on November 8, exactly one year after he first graced our Glee screens ;)

Day 4: Favourite Klaine duet
Well, they've really only had three, but if I had to pick between "Baby It's Cold Outside", "Animal" and "Candles", it would have to BICO. Candles was in front of an audience, they had little wiggle room beyond eyesex to connect, Animal was all about the gas pains sexy faces LOL. BICO was THE flirty duet, and it was in private, and even if Blaine had his head up his butt about his feelings for Kurt at that point, they came through in this song and it was just adorable.

Day 3: Favourite Blaine solo
"Somewhere Only We Know" because it's just such a sweet moment of their relationship development. I think here Blaine has known for awhile he is going to have to let Kurt go back to his friends, but he needed to show him it wasn't an end, but a beginning. Bonus points Kurt Creys and huggage ;)

Day 2: Favourite Kurt solo
"I Want To Hold Your Hand", without fail. I love all of Kurt's solos but this got deep down into my heart and he's just beautiful in it. The montage to Kurt/Burt in it just sealed the deal.

I tried to resist this from the moment I saw it cropping up on Tumblr, and I has been strong... until now. It's just too much tempation for me to hold off anymore, so here goes nothing!

30 days of Klaine ♥

Day 1: The moment that made you a Klaine shipper.
The day I heard Darren Criss was cast as Blaine? I am that pathetic, yes. I adore Kurt, always have. He is my favourite Glee character and I have been one of those die-hards who just wanted to see him out and proud with an out and proud boyfriend to love him. I knew I was going to love Blaine, mostly because of Darren Criss, but also because the though of a cute private school gay guy as a character intrigued me.

The canon moment I truly became a Klaine shipper thought was Never Been Kissed with 1) the adorable collar adjustment, and the way we saw Kurt REALLY smile during Teenage Age, so I guess you could say these wee pains in the butt had me from hello ;) (Seriously, I made Blaine's journal here the day after the episode aired because I couldn't resist him against the amazing and fabulous singslikeagirl and we haven't looked back since)

I know I wasn't going to bother retconning Blaine's name in beyondmckinley and mckinleyvdalton, but I've changed my mind. After a suggestion from a genius (IMHO), I have decided to kill two birds with one stone. From this point on, Blaine is going to be:

Blaine Bradford Anderson

This way, he get to keep the name I gave him, and have his canon surname. It also allows us to keep the BB nickname Kurt affectionately adopted in these games, which was one of the sole reasons I didn't want to change it.

So, there were have it. Two birds, a stone. All done.

With musebysentence back up and running, I'm probably going to be posting Blaine there, and to musebyrp if the urge ever tickles my fancy. Anything and everything posted there will be current up-to-date canon, unless stated otherwise.
